You know how they say all artists are a bit crazy? Well, I have to admit Jessica Wohl brought art craziness to a whole new level. She made an installation featuring a weird and creepy looking staircase completely covered in hair. For this particular work of art she used the stairs in Hot Springs, Arkansas’ abandoned Mountainaire Hotel. The reassuring part is that she didn't actually use real human hair, just synthetic, but still it doesn't make the stairs look any less creepy. I can't even picture myself climbing to the top of this staircase. It's like being trapped inside of a horror movie.
With these girly breads and colorful hair bands, it looks even cute in a weird and creepy way. If there are any artists among the readers, please explain me the meaning of this hairy artwork, if there is one at all. Maybe she was just trying out ideas for the Halloween house decorations. source
