Ladies, did you know there are special bras designed to keep you cool during hot summer days or those that will help you quit smoking? Keep reading to find out more unusual bras.

1. Super Cool Bra

Triumph, the company behind a number of strangely innovative brassiere designs, just came out with a new undergarment to keep women cool during a hot summer day. The “Super Cool Bra” features built-in gel icepacks in each cup that remain soft while frozen, giving the wearer a “super cool feeling,” according to the Japanese manufacturer. And for whatever reason, the bra is designed to look like a fishbowl. What other bras have alternative purposes? From a bra with hidden pockets to one that double as a gas mask, we run down the most multifunctional underwear.

2. Joey Bra

The Joey Bra, a creation inspired by Facebook posts about women losing their phones at bars and parties the night before, is a bra that features a side strap pocket to keep a “cellphone, ID, and key on the side of your bra with easy access,” according to the company’s website. It does not, however, address the issue of having a rectangular lump sticking out from the wearer’s side when fully dressed. Nor does it accommodate the vast spectrum of sizes in the bra-wearing world: the Joey Bra comes in small, medium, and large, instead of traditional bra sizes.

3. Husband Hunter Bra

This bra, which we have nicknamed the “Anti-Feminism Bra,” is another creation from Triumph, which came up with the undergarment as a solution to Japan’s falling birthrate. The “Konkatsu Bra”—translation: “Marriage Hunting bra”—features a timer showing how many days are left for the wearer to get married, and yes, the countdown timer can be set by the woman, not the company. Once the bra is “set off,” the only way it can be stopped is by inserting an engagement or wedding ring between the cups. There isn’t enough space in this space even to get started on our rant against the “Husband Hunter,” so we’ll remain silent—that is, until the wedding march sounds (no really, the bra actually plays music once a wedding band is inserted).

4. Quit Smoking Bra

Coated in liquid titanium (no joke), this bra releases the scent of lavender to soothe its wearer’s cigarette-smoking urges. It also contains jasmine, which alters the taste of cigarette smoke. And the titanium? “To break down cigarette smoke,” according to the company that released it.

5. Cancer Detection Bra

Probably the most practical bra on the list, the breast cancer-detecting bra is able to discover cancer before a tumor begins growing and also evaluates the effectiveness of treatment, according to developers at the United Kingdom’s University of Bolton. The technology, which relies on a microwave antenna woven into the fabric, can sense any abnormal temperature changes in breast tissue.

6. Gas Mask Bra

A bra that transforms into two gas masks? The inventors of this seemingly impossible gas mask bra won the Ig Nobel Public Health Prize in 2009 for their invention of a brassiere that could double as two gas masks. “You have to be prepared all the time, at any place, at any moment, and practically every woman wears a bra,” said the Ukrainian inventor, who studied the effects of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster for years. She noted that the bra would be useful in many instances, including a riot, freak dust storm, or nuclear disaster.

7. Putting Mat Bra

Some women really, really love to golf. Some women love to golf so much they keep a miniature putting green next to their heart, and their breasts. The “Nice Cup in Bra”, a corset that when removed, serves as a 1.5-meter putting mat. If you’re ever feeling desperate to swing some clubs, and also to get spontaneously topless, remove the bra, unroll the “green,” and simply aim for either one of two cups at the end of it.

8. The Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Bra

While not technically a bra, as it doesn’t have any cups, this “anti-bra” is to be worn at night to ward off cleavage wrinkles. What are cleavage wrinkles? They’re formed between the breasts from old age and sleeping on one’s side. Designed by a Dutch woman who noticed this phenomenon, “La Decollette” is a harness-type top that features two cutouts and a wide strap in the front to keep the area between the ladies wrinkle free.

9. Smart Memory Bra

While using similar technology to the breast cancer-detection bra, the “Smart Memory Bra” detects a woman’s arousal by monitoring breast temperature. When breasts get to a certain “aroused” temperature—whatever that means—the reactive expanding foam cups squeeze the breasts together, creating more cleavage. (We’re continuing to fight back a rant against said “smart” bras…)

10. Photovoltaic-Powered Bra

Yet another Triumph creation, this undergarment has a solar panel attached to it, so you can charge your cellphone, computer, iPhone, etc., as you’re running errands or going for a jog. It also comes with refillable water-filled pouches to drink from, so your bra keeps you hydrated all day long. This sounds like a particularly heavy and dangerous—if, say, the charger and water come in contact with each other…and your breasts—brassiere, but at least it’s made from top-quality organic cotton!

Sexism in Vintage Ads

I decided to look at these terrible ads not as a proof of how common gender stereotypes were in the past, but as a proof of progress women achieved in improving their position in general in the last 50 years. Unfortunately, we are far from stereotype-free society, because there are still plenty of those who will make jokes about women being bad drivers, brainless beauties or house dwellers. At least we have moved on to recognizing a stereotype when we see one and disapproving of it. We don’t put up with this nonsense anymore and companies don’t invoke it to push their products. I know it’s not much, but it gives hope for a better future.

10 Parties to Attend Before You Die

Everybody knows about these great parties. We’ve all heard about them, they are ridiculously large, extremely wild and people from all over the world pack their bags to be there and to over-indulge yourself in all possible ways and to have the time of their lives. This is my bucket list for the parties I want to visit before I die. For now, I’ve seen two of these ten – Full Moon Party and Songkran when I was in Thailand last year. I haven’t yet decided Which will be my next destination for this year.

1. La Tomatina, Bunyol, Spain

La Tomatina is the biggest tomato fight in the world held each year since 1945 in Bunyol, Spain. On the last Wednesday in August 30,000 people get together in the street and toss tomatoes at each other. Before they start, rockets filled with tomatoes are launched above the crowd, making it rain tomato juice.

2. Full Moon Party, KPG, Thailand

Legend has it, that a group of young people from Japan was celebrating someone’s birthday during the 80s and they had the biggest, wildest party ever on the sandy beach on Koh Pangan, under the light of full moon. They had such great time that they decided to gather for the next full moon and party again. And soon it turned into a tradition. Now, there are back packers from all over the world that come here to party.

3. Carnival, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

This is THE Carnival. The biggest, wildest and most famous one in the whole world. Thousands of half-naked participants dance to the rhythms of samba in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The carnival lasts for almost a week and it is a ongoing party for the whole time. This party has the main priority on my bucket list. I can’t wait to join that pulsing crowd.

4. Songkran, Thailand

Songkran is the Thai New Year. It takes place all over the country in mid-April and is literary the biggest water fight in the world. It is a spiritual holiday and aside from helping you cool down it is supposed to symbolize washing away your last year’s sins. And the best way to do that is by committing some new ones.

5. Oktoberfest, Munich

If you’re into beer, German sausages and women with big breasts in traditional Bavarian dresses, then the Oktoberfest is the place for you! Over 6 million people from all over the world come to Munich to enjoy the best beer in the world and join the street parades of people singing German songs followed by Oompha Bands.

6. Holi, India

Similar to the Thai holiday of Songrkan, Holi is a two day Hindu spring festival that occurs in northern India. The first night is marked by bonfires, and the second day is spent pleasuring your inner 2nd grader by splashing colored flour and water over everybody. It’s a celebration about renewal.

7. The Running of the Bull, Pamplona, Spain

This must be one of the craziest festivals in the world! Every year, tens of thousands of people come in Pamplona to literally run with bulls.Locals call the event The Festival of San Fermin. Thousands of people get chased by a herd of bulls while they run through a barricaded course. It is insanely dangerous and of course, many people get injured, but it just makes me wanna go and participate even harder!

8. Ios Island, Greece

People who were at these Greek island call it the the College fraternity version of Ibiza. There are three things to do on Ios, drink and party all night, hook-up and recover on the beach. Sounds like just the right amount of activity I plan for my holiday.

9. Mardi Grass, New Orleans

Mardi Gras is French for “Fat Tuesday” (in ethnic English tradition, Shrove Tuesday), referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which begins on Ash Wednesday.

10. St. Patrick’s Day, Dublin, Ireland

The Irish know how to party and they show up in most of the top party destinations. Dublin is not only a beautiful city, it also has a fantastic night life. Temple Bar area is out of control and to go to Dublin for St. Patties day is one of those things you NEED to do at least one in your life, whether you are Irish or not!

It seems rather out of date and probably most of the women and especially feminists will feel highly insulted by ridiculous attitudes you can find here. First and most importantly, a woman is dominated by her sex, because her whole life is wrapped around being a wife and a mother, and that’s pretty much it. If a woman doesn’t fulfill any of these two roles, she’ll end up angry and frustrated!

What did an average American girl know about marital relationships back in the 1948? Well, apparently, not all that much, we might even say they had no clue. And, still this modern and probably quite liberal guide book for that time, tells them that it would be for the best if these girls went to a doctor and asked him about these things. Parents are not even mentioned. I wonder if it is because of the face moral and if it was considered inappropriate to talk about sex with your parents, or could it be that parents were equally clueless as their kids about their bodies.

Cleanliness is next to godliness!

Seductive and Frightening Lilith Depictions

Lilith is definitely the most popular female demon in Jewish mythology, folklore and traditional literature and she is also one of the most inspiring mythological creatures in modern art, literature and cinematography. There is something deeply appealing in the idea of an evil female character that is at the same time extremely attractive and seductive, and also very frightening and scary.

The Jews regarded Lilith as evil. According to Jewish folklore, Lilith was forced by three angels to swear she would not harm mothers and children that wore amulets having the names of those three angels.

In Jewish folklore, from the 8th–10th centuries Alphabet of Ben Sira onwards, Lilith becomes Adam’s first wife, who was created at the same time and from the same earth as Adam. This contrasts with Eve, who was created from one of Adam’s ribs.

Lilith left Adam after she refused to become subservient to him and then would not return to the Garden of Eden after she mated with archangel Samael. The resulting Lilith legend is still commonly used as source material in modern Western culture, literature, occultism, fantasy, and horror.

She appears frequently on prophylactic magical bowls. In this context, she is clearly associated with childbirth (e.g. as a threat), and perhaps also as a succubus against which men need protection. In these bowls she is often countered by invoking the powers of her nemesis angels.

Somewhere between the eighth and tenth centuries, CE, she makes an appearance in a satirical work entitled the Alphabet of Ben Sira. It is here that she is first given what has become her most famous persona: the first wife of Adam (before Eve). In this story, she is created at more or less the same time as Adam, and, as was Adam, out of the ground. Because of this she tries to assert her equality — an assertion which Adam rejects. Refusing to conform to Adam’s desires, she escapes from Eden, and is subsequently replaced by the more subservient Eve (who has less claim to equality, since she was made out of Adam’s side). Having escaped Eden, Lilith takes on her renowned role as baby-stealer and mother of demons.

While it is true that there was a rabbinic tradition that Adam briefly had another wife before the creation of Eve (Genesis Rabbah), there is a great deal of doubt as to whether Lilith had any connection at all to this first wife of Adam story prior the publication of the Alphabet. The satirical nature of the Alphabet casts further doubt on the authenticity of this Lilith connection. But whatever its origins, the connection between Lilith and the first Eve seems to have struck a chord with Jewish folk imagination and it is now an inexorable part of those traditions. It has been able to function both as a ‘woman’s story’ (in which Lilith is a role model for uppity women), and as a patriarchal story (in which we see the dire consequences of being an uppity woman). As a midrash, it also helps to solve a problem that arises from the fact that Genesis 1 has mankind created “male and female,” but when we get to Genesis 2, Adam seems to be alone and in need of a partner.

Kabbalistic literature is occasionally aware of the Alphabet story, but more frequently not. Here Lilith usually appears as a partner for Samael (=Satan), and as the chief feminine expression of the Left (evil) Emanation. In some passages, she participates in the temptation of Eve/Adam, and, after the expulsion, she serves as succubus to Adam, generating hoards of demons from his seed. She is also the personification of temptation, and is for all intents and purposes identified with the woman Folly from the early chapters of Proverbs. In one story, she actually serves as consort to the Holy One.

She also appears in Christian iconography. Most late medieval and renaissance paintings of the temptation of Adam and Eve have portrayed the serpent as having a woman’s head and often torso as well. This is usually referred to by art historians as ‘Lilith,’ but there is no Jewish story which easily corresponds to the pictorial representations (the one exception is Bacharach, ‘Emeq haMelekh 23c-d, but it is confusing, and problematic at best). I am led to presume that there were Christian versions of the Lilith myth in which the identification between her and the Serpent were made explicit. Unfortunately, none of these versions have survived in either text or known folklore.

Lilith enjoyed something of a revival in literature beginning in the mid 19th century. Usually she represents the feminine dark side (the part that men subliminally fear). Carl Jung made use of her as prime expression of the anima in men (the suppressed feme within), and the best monograph on her still belongs to one of Jung’s disciples (Siegmund Hurwitz).

She has also been embraced by many modern, particularly Jewish, feminists. Based mainly, or entirely, on the Alphabet, she is presented as the proto-feminist, willing to sacrifice even the paradise of Eden as the necessary cost of freedom and equality. Of course, her role as baby-stealer is usually down-played (or assigned to a patriarchal layer of the tradition). Some neo-pagan groups have taken up her cause as well, either accepting her dark nature as part of larger sacred reality, or finding the erotic goddess within after removing the clutter of what they argue are patriarchal and monotheistic condemnations.

Finally, she has a place in vampire lore either as the first and most powerful of the vampires, or at least as their queen. She is sometimes presented as either the daughter or the consort of Dracula. In her role as succubus, she has, of course, particular control of nightmares and erotic dreams. She also rules a horde of other succuba and incubi.

I can’t help but wonder, why are we, especially men in the Western culture, obsessed with the female principle and why do we instantly connect it with something evil, dark, and negative? Are we too scared of emancipated, free thinking women? The sin of Lilith seems to be double. She did not only refuse obedience to Adam, but she is also represent all carnal desires, terrestrial and everything physical, which means – a distraction from the spiritual and the worship of God. Even Eve, which was far more obedient to Adam, turned out to be a symbol of falter and the original sin. It is really hard to be a religious woman and to keep any self-respect.

Time or aging seems to be America’s enemy number one. Everyone is concerned with staying young and beautiful forever, or as long as they live and breath, and we are doing everything we can to expand the life expectancy for at least a couple or more hundreds of years. Being young, tanned, with shinny hair, blindingly white teeth and pumped muscles is everyone’s must do. Somewhere along the way, we lost the whole ‘aging with dignity’ thing with all the plastic surgery, botox, implants and people baking inside the solarium and tanning boxes. While looking at these thirteen men that not so long ago used to be so hot, I can’t help but ask Where did all the sexy go?

1. Russell Crowe

This middle-aged, average chubby guy on the right used to play the Gladiator? Come on! No f***ing way! I know I said that people in America are too superficial and obsessed with their looks, but going to the exact opposite is also as bad if not worse. Doing some exercise twice or three times a week would really do him good. It’s good for his health, and more importantly, it’s excellent for his female fans’ libido.

2. Mickey Rourke

Hey, Mickey, you used to be so fine, so fine – you blew my mind… And looking at your deformed face now is so painful, it’s like looking at a terrible car crash. I’ve heard that you’re into boxing and that you got a few punches in the face and that all the plastic surgery you did was to fix the mess from your bloody hobby, but somehow that doesn’t seem right. And even if I manage to put this aside, I can’t overlook your frequent and embarrassing meltdowns in public and moping over your grandma and your dead puppy. Manly Men in Classic Pin Up Poses

Photographer Rion Sabean made it obvious for us how ridiculous classic pin up poses are. Somehow I failed to notice it until, instead of female, he used male models. It all became much more clear when there weren’t half naked beautiful young women to distract me. I wonder how dumb these guys felt with their legs up in the air. Still, I’m afraid they didn’t change their opinions when it comes to women doing this stuff. Sad, but true! My absolute favorite is this bearded dude, he looks super ridiculous. I especially appreciate face expression.

Marilyn Monroe (born Norma Jeane Mortenson but baptized and raised as Norma Jeane Baker; June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962) was an American actress, singer and model. Monroe began a career as a model, which led to a film contract in 1946. Her early film appearances were minor, but her performances in The Asphalt Jungle and All About Eve (both 1950) were well received. By 1953, Monroe had progressed to leading roles. The Love Life of Adolf Hitler

Despite the fact that today he is considered to be the embodiment of absolute evil, Adolf Hitler had a very rich love life, as well. During his life he felt affection (or at least so say the rumors) to several women. The most famous among them, of course, was his long-suffering mistress, remaining so for a long time and hardly a day being his wife Eva Braun, who along with him committed suicide shortly after the wedding. But – it was just one of the women of Adolf Hitler…

Mitzi Reiter: early love. Mary “Mitzi” Reiter was sixteen, when entered into a relationship with thirty-seven-years-old Hitler, and drew attention to to herself in 1926. Adolf Hitler promised her marriage and “fair-haired children”, but later said to her that there is a vital mission that he must first finish. In despair because of his constant neglect of her, she tried to hang herself but survived and eventually became an SS officer’s wife. Paula Hitler, Adolf’s sister later said that Reiter was the only person who could have prevented Hitler from turning into a monster.

Geli Raubal, Hitler’s niece. According to this it seems like the greatest love of Hitler was incestuous. He was in love with Angela “Geli” Raubal, the daughter of his half-sister. Presumably, their relationship began when she was seventeen years old. Hitler was powerful and domineering uncle full of love and understanding, while in fact, he kept her locked in his flat in Munich or at the villa he owned near Berchtesgaden. Many believe that Raubal did not return him feelings.

The love of Hitler’s life, Raubal in 1931, aged 23, was found dead in Hitler’s apartment in Munich with a gunshot wound to her chest. Her death was declared suicide, but many believe that the future German dictator killed her after a quarrel caused by his plan to move to Vienna. A bullet was fired from Hitler’s personal “Walter”. Researchers believe that after Raubal’s death, it was very hard for Hitler to move along, he did not allow people to come as close to him as it was with Raubal. “This death is sown into his soul and is the seed of his inhumanity” as Hitler’s personal photographer mentioned later in his memoirs.

Erna Hanfshtengl: a friend’s sister. After the failed Beer Hall Putsch in 1923, there were rumors that Hitler had a brief relationship with Erna Hanfshtengl, elder sister of his friend Ernst Hanfshtenglya. Other sources, however, argue that rather clumsy Hitler’s flirtations are not to be taken seriously at all. Renate Müller – Aryan ideal, increasingly popular with the Nazis which called her the Aryan ideal of women. She was a decent replacement to Marlene Dietrich, which didn’t support the Nazis and moved to Hollywood. However, Renate Müller was not eager to make movies that promote Nazism as well. According to rumors, she was under a constant pressure and demands to split with her Jew lover.

In 1937, Mueller has fallen from the window of the hotel – it is unknown whether this was an accident, suicide or murder. She was thirty-one years old. According to the German director, Adolf Zeysslera, Mueller admitted to him that she had a brief affair with Hitler. German dictator, she said, was squirming on the floor under her feet, demanding from her to beat him – only this caused his sexual arousal. Her flight from the window took place a few days after that conversation. Eyewitnesses claim that just a second before the actress took a flight from the hotel window, Gestapo agents hid away.

Inga Ley – another suicide. Hitler was a big fan of Inga Ley, the wife of one of the officials in the Nazi party, Robber Leia. There were rumors in Germany that Hitler and Inga Ley had a love story. Also there were rumors that Hitler had a nude portrait of Leigh hung in the living room in one of his apartments. However, there is no conclusive evidence if a sexual relation between them existed. Ley committed suicide in 1942, possibly due to depression caused by the use of drugs to which she became addicted because of the heavy labor.

Unity Mitford – Fuhrer’s English Rose. British socialite Unity Mitford moved to Munich in the middle of the 1930th and soon entered the Hitler close circle. Her middle name was “Valkyrie”, and Hitler was obsessed with Scandinavian mythology. Later he would call her “the perfect specimen of Aryan women.”

Eve’s Rival . Eva Braun was out of her mind with jealousy because of the close relationship of Hitler and Unity Mitford. “She is known as the” Valkyrie “and looks suitable, especially her legs. I, the mistress of the greatest man in Germany and the whole world am forced to accept the fact that everyone is laughing at me “- Eva Braun wrote in her diary. Romantic betrayal. When Britain declared war on Germany, Mitford was so upset that she shot herself in the head from a pistol with a handle decorated with pearls, which was presented to her by Hitler. She survived and returned to England, but never fully recovered. In 1948, she died due to complications caused by the bullet which was entrenched in her head too deeply and was inoperable. Mother of Adolf Hitler’s Child? In 2007 an article appeared in British magazine “The New Statesman”, which raises the claim that Mitford was pregnant with Hitler and had a baby in a hospital in Britain after her return there. This child, according to the author of the article, was then adopted. Every Woman Wants a Funny Guy

Meredith Carpenter and Lillian Fritz-Laylin — Science explains why humor turns women on. We all know that women like funny guys (how else do you explain Woody Allen’s love life?), but empirical evidence for this phenomenon has been sorely lacking. Fortunately, in a recent study in the journal Psychological Reports, a French scientist took up the challenge of testing whether humor helps men pick up women.

In the study, “Men’s sense of humor and women’s responses to courtship solicitations: an experimental field study”, the author (who you might remember from such classic studies as “Women’s bust size and men’s courtship solicitation” and “Bust size and hitchhiking: a field study” set out to test whether “producing humor might function as a fitness indicator associated with greater desirability during dating selection.”

For the experiment, the researcher recruited several young “male confederates” (no, not the Southern kind) to help out. The guys sat in a bar near a woman, and one of them was instructed to tell (or, in the control condition, not tell) three jokes to his companions. These jokes had been previously chosen for their funniness by a panel of women, so we can only assume something has been lost in the translation from French:

“Two friends are talking: “Say, buddy, could you loan me 100 Euros?” “Well, you know I only have 60 on me.” “OK, give me what you’ve got and you’ll only owe me 40.”

A young teacher is interviewing for a position. He is asked: “Can you give me three reasons why you wanted to be a teacher?” The interviewee promptly answers: “December, June, and July.”

A little boy asks his Dad, “What’s a bank?” His Dad answers: “It’s a place where you put your money for awhile, before the IRS takes it all away.”"

The two companions were instructed to respond with phrases like “That’s hilarious!” and “You always know the good ones!”. The companions then left, and the joker asked the woman (who had overheard the whole charade) for her phone number. Finally, the woman was “debriefed” and asked to take a short survey to rate the guy on his attractiveness, intelligence, and sense of humor.

The result of these shenanigans? “The previous expression of humor was associated with greater compliance with the male confederate’s request and with a higher positive evaluation.” In other words, the guy who told jokes was rated as funnier and more attractive by the women, thus snagging him more phone numbers.

The author goes on to speculate about why women might be attracted to humor:

Humor for women may perhaps be interpreted as a personal trait related to intelligence; intelligence is an important trait in evaluating the probability of obtaining higher status and success in financial prospects. This effect could explain why men used humor more frequently than women because the lack of humor is associated with less interest in the female’s mental activity.

So basically, the author thinks women like funny guys because it shows their intelligence, but men choose women for other reasons—perhaps (based on his other publications) bust size?

After all this we suggest to all guys that have troubles with ladies to work on their sense of humor, because men who can make women laugh seem to have a kind of halo effect – if you are funny, you can win anyone over.

Women are considered to be a gentle and fragile sex and are looked on as weaker and more delicate then men. But, since the beginning of twentieth century and even more since the sex revolution that took place in sixties of the last century, women started to reject this role and the place that was given to them (role of a mother and wife, and place that is in the house) and started to take up all sorts of jobs and positions that until then used to be reserved for men only.
