The Lowest Landings at the Princess Juliana Airport

OMG! This is just bizarre! The architect and the constructor of this airport should have their licenses taken away. They need therapy. I mean, just have a look at the images below and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Imagine lying on a beach, sunbathing, sipping your cocktail through a straw and then… boom! All of a sudden, there is nothing less, but an airplane trying to land on your head! But, the thing that puzzles me even more than the nut architect are the people who don’t seem to mind these planes over their heads, but they continue to visit this same beach. Why don’t they go somewhere else? icon smile

Osama bin Laden’s Niece

For those of you who haven’t yet met this woman, allow me to introduce her to you. This is Wafah Dufour, Osama bin Laden’s niece. She’s the daughter of Osama’s half-brother, Yeslam bin Laden.  She is an Indie/rock singer and a model, but she didn’t have her  big break through, yet. She thinks the cause of her previous failure is the fact that America rejects her and connects her with the al-Qaida leader. The appearance of quite provocative photos of her posing in a series of seductive posses took media’s fool attention.

The Best Macro Photos Ever

Today we present you with the most beautiful macro photos, the work of Wolfgang Ulemann, the German photographer who says that photography was his passion since he was twelve years old. Here goes his story:

“I started doing this when I was twelve years old. My first experience I have gained in Frankenberg movie theater and various photo clubs, which I went to along with my father. When I was fourteen, my father stopped going to the club and entrusted me with all our equipment. In those years when I worked in the apiary, I learned to appreciate and love nature. My attention was always attracted to insects and flower buds, because the macro these objects provides a very beautiful and spectacular photos. I’d like to see my works have inspired people to know this amazing natural world that surrounds us. After all, we are often so preoccupied with our troubles, not to notice the beauty that is very close. “

Museum of Cats in Malaysia

The museum of cats is located in downtown Kuching in the Malaysian part of Borneo. Kuching in Malaysia just means “cat”. The locals are very fond of this remarkable animal. They love cats to such an extent that they made monuments of them all over the city. And in the mid 20th century they even created a special museum for cats. I invite you to walk with us through the showrooms.

Awesome Lightnings from Around the World

Lightning is a discharge of atmospheric electricity, accompanied by thunder, which normally occurs during thunderstorms, and sometimes during volcanic eruptions or dust storms. At atmospheric electrical discharge, lightning can reach speeds of up to 220 000 km (140,000 miles) per hour and reach temperatures of 30,000 degrees Celsius (54,000 degrees Fahrenheit). The temperature is high enough to melt sand into glass channels, known as fulgurites, which usually are formed at a certain depth in the ground. Every year there is about 16 million storms around the world accompanied by lightning.

Using Children in Protests

Protesters are using all sort of means to get their massage through, but some things are a bit too much if you ask me. For example, using children in protests is totally not OK. I’m sure there are people who will say they don’t see anything wrong in parading with their kids on their shoulders, but I can’t possibly agree with that. What do you think about children being used in demonstrations?

The Best ‘Creepy Old Man Photobomb’ Ever

The worst thing in being an old man who’s trying to be a part of young people’s lives besides being totally pathetic and ridiculous is that you’ll probably end up ruining someone’s picture by photobombing in it and on top of all that you’ll end up coming off as nothing more than a creepy old man or even a perv! Why do people still do this?

I’m not sure if it is just nostalgia or were things really better back in the old days. Just have a look at these insanely beautiful, feminine and attractive vintage women posters. They are so natural looking and if you ask me, there is no modern movie star or model that has such geat pictures, not even Angelina Jolie. What do you think, were women more beautiful in the past or did they simply had more style?

Voodoo in Haiti

Haitian Voodoo is a syncretic religion that originates in the Caribbean country of Haiti. It is based upon a merging of the beliefs and practices of West African peoples (mainly the Fon and Ewe; see West African Vodun), with Arawakian religious beliefs, and Roman Catholic Christianity. Voodoo was created by African slaves who were brought to Haiti in the 16th century and still followed their traditional African beliefs, but were forced to convert to the religion of their slavers Practitioners are commonly described as Vodouisants.

If there was facebook years ago

Did you ever wonder how would it look like if there was Facebook years ago? Well, here are some ideas how it might look like back in the 70s, 60s, 50s, etc. My favorite is Ann Frank posting statuses during the World War II. It’s a bit dark, but still hilarious.
