GQ’s Lust List for the 2012

Well-known men’s magazine GQ is casting for the 2012 Lust List. You have the opportunity to participate in creating this list by voting for the girl you think is the most attractive. They call it the list of “all the women you’ll be lusting after in 2012″ and it includes the next Bond girl, some of Victoria’s worst-kept secrets, and Mrs. Don Draper. Here are those ladies:

1. Bérénice Marlohe

Our Femme Fatale is a French model-actress who just happens to be the new Bond girl in this fall’s Skyfall.

2. Candice Swanepoel

Candice Swanepoel is a beautiful South African model that works for the Victoria’s Secret. She is known for her ravishing blue eyes, blond hair and voluptuous breasts.

3. Liu Wen

Liu Wen is a Chinese fashion model. She is the first model of East Asian descent to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. In 2010, she became a face of Estée Lauder.

4. Jessica Paré

Jessica Paré is a Canadian film and television actress. She has appeared in the films like Wicker Park (2004), Hot Tub Time Machine (2010), and plays Megan on the fourth season of the American TV series Mad Men.

5. Joan Smalls

Joan Smalls is a Puerto Rican model, born in 1988, and is another hot Latina that will win our hearts. Also she is my personal favorite in this list.

Fashion and Clothes Around the World

Around the world, clothes and ornaments feature the people and their culture. The first thing that people notice – clothes, can be determined by tradition, culture and social position, or simply a fashionable person. Let’s see how people dress in different countries according to their traditions.

1. Sudan.
Here we see the woman from the Sudan in the traditional garb.

2. Buddhist monk. Mayanmar
Dressed in a monk’s robe look of a young Buddhist monastery doors Mayanmara. Red, reddish-brown and saffron color – the dominant colors of clothes Buddhists.

3. Procession, India.
Colorful saris fit the style of the flower, which women carry in Pushkar, India. Textile India’s economy is producing thousands of varieties of different styles.

Women in Islamic garb stroll down the street in rush hour. Muslim women tend to dress modestly, to honor his men.

8. Workers. Shanghai.
Workers from Guizhou Province are on the sidewalk during a break in Shanghai. Western fashion and traditional ideas entered into China through the growing city and port, which is very hospitable to foreigners.

9. Headgear. India.
Roughly treated turquoise stones adorn the hats of two women in Ladakh, a remote Himalayan region. Men and women have similar long heavy robes.

10.Maasai, Tanzania.
Maasaiyskie women wear colorful clothes and jewelry while walking, Tanzania.

11. Grandfather, Nepal.

12. Traditional dress, Serbia.
Serbian woman in traditional folk costume. In Serbia, the style of folk clothes vary according to region.

13. Sun Protection, Shanghai.
A woman wearing a shawl with hood and long sleeves to protect her skin from the sun during a bike ride, Shanghai. Many women in Asia are dressed in long, since this is the easiest way to protect your skin from the sun.

14.Models, New York.
Models dressed in daring dresses designers in New York who organize major shows each year, known high-quality, cutting-edge model garment.

We’ll leave the dress critiques to the fashion police at all the chick websites. All we want to know is, who do you think was the hottest actress, model, or celebrity at last night’s Golden Globe Awards? Emma Stone grabbed our attention the most, but Halle Berry, Sofia Vergara, and Hayden Panettiere were smoking as well. Which one is your favorite?

Men as calendar models

Did you ever wonder what it would look like if ordinary looking men were calendar models? Well, ready or not here it comes! I have to admit that it’s not really an impressive view, but we fought for equality between man and women and here it is. Of course, I’m just kidding, because women on the calendars are real models all super hot and everything, and these men here are just ordinary guys with big beer stomachs and completely out of shape. The comparison could only be right if there were side by side male and female models, but it wouldn’t be quite right even then. The problem seems to be the fact that women don’t really keep this sort of calendars on their walls, while many men do.

I mean, just enter any mechanics workshop and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Some will say that it is because man are more visual beings by their nature, but I think it is a cultural thing. Women aren’t simply raised that way. Just think about your early childhood and how different it was for you (if you are a man) and your sister. There is the saying “Boys will be boys” and by that there are many pranks and naughty deeds that can pass by. On the other hand there is no such saying for girls and aside from expecting from them to always be perfectly moderate and modest, no parent will ever try to weaken up his daughter’s sexuality. Quite opposite, it is roughly repressed and everybody is acting like it doesn’t exist at all.

And then, when a girl grows up and turns into a woman the mainstream mass media (television, magazines, music, movies, and the internet) provide increasingly frequent portrayals of sexuality. All of a sudden it is expected from a woman to act completely different from the way she has been taught and raised all of her life. It’s really weird and bizarre when you think about it and it brings women into schizoid behavior and confusion.

Now, I know these photos didn’t tend to start this feminist discussion, the point was probably simply and only for fun, but somehow I needed to put this out and now, after saying what’s on my mind, I can finally look at these photos and smile. I hope you’ll find these photos funny too and you’ll understand why I had to write all this above. I think tha captions are the best!
