Crappy Celebrity Jobs Before They Were Famous
Celebrities weren’t born famous, at least most of them. So, they had to do shitty, nitty and gritty jobs, too. The only difference between you and them is that they made it, and became ridiculously rich and famous, while you’re still stuck at your crappy job, reading this article!

Who Wants to Live Forever?
As humans and the only animals in the Universe (for now, maybe soon we’ll discover new form of life somewhere out there) who are aware of their own transiency, we can’t help but obsess over death and think about it almost every day of our lives. There is nothing more frightening, nothing that shakes our very core more then the idea of perishing, simply disappearing, not existing one day. And all our thoughts and dreams, hopes and secret wishes will simply vanish, like they never existed in the first place. This pretty much scares the shit out of everybody.
15 Places You Should See While You’re Still Young
There are so many interesting and wonderful places in the world that everyone should have a chance to visit at least once in their lives. It would be the best if you could do most of your traveling while still young, because then you can get the full experience. Still, most of the people start traveling when they retire and step down from their position in the office. Then they feel like they finally have enough time for all the things they were putting off, because they worked so hard, but then as it usually turns out, they don’t have enough energy anymore and even if they went and visited some place they planned long ago, they wouldn’t really have enough zeal to climb the rocks, visit Buddhist temples, part all night long, etc.

Famous People of the Twentieth Century and Their Graves
Here’s one a bit odd topic – famous people of the twentieth century and the places where they were buried. It might be a little dark and twisted topic for the photo gallery, but I believe there are many people who will find this interesting. let’s see how the graves of the celebrities from the last century look like!

Carnival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Carnival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the largest carnival in Europe and second largest in the world after the famous Brazilian carnival in Rio de Janeiro. But just how almost everyone has heard of Rio de Janeiro carnival, of this vivid and attractive happening on Tererife, people are learning just now. This festival combines elegance of Venetian and passion of Brazilian carnival. Here’s how it looks like. Enjoy!
Every Woman Wants a Funny Guy
Meredith Carpenter and Lillian Fritz-Laylin — Science explains why humor turns women on. We all know that women like funny guys (how else do you explain Woody Allen’s love life?), but empirical evidence for this phenomenon has been sorely lacking. Fortunately, in a recent study in the journal Psychological Reports, a French scientist took up the challenge of testing whether humor helps men pick up women.
Who Wants to Live Forever?
This Cuban man has just turned 111! Have a peek to see how his birthday party looked like. The most fascinating thing, if you ask me, is the fact that he is a smoker and he probably has been all of his life and still, despite that he managed to live to such an old age. At first when you hear something like that, you think – wow, good for him, that would really be great if I could reach at least 90, but then, on the other hand, I’m not really sure if I would be happy living in a world which all of my childhood friends have left long ago, and in a world that changes so rapidly i can’t understand it.
Mongolia then and now
It is really interesting comparing old and new photos of people and kids from Mongolia. It’s like a time travel through Mongolia. Have a look how this country changed from a nomadic to modern society. Enjoy!
Astonishing Macro Photography by Magdalena Wasiczek
When it comes to capturing life and nature beauty in macro photography, this young Polish artist, Magdalena Wasiczek is unsurpassed and absolutely the best! Have a look at this gallery and I hope you’ll enjoy in her work as much as I did.
Now and then
Here’s interesting set of images dealing with the “now and then” topic. It is really great watching these photos and comparing what some things used to look like and how they look now. It becomes obvious how much our taste and fashion have changed through time. Some things look much better now, and others actually looked better before. I don’t know if it is just nostalgia or did people really had better taste earlier. If you ask me actors and singers were definitely better before. I even feel bad for comparing Buddie Holy with Lady Gaga and Great Blues with Snoop Dogg, because they are hardly in the same category. But just have a look at this collection and then you be the judge if we fixed or spoiled some things.

Real bikers
A real biker doesn’t have a whole lot of things that say Harley Davidson on them, except his motorcycle. He doesn’t have to buy a pin at the biker rally that says, “I rode mine” cause he has nothing to prove to anyone with pins and do dads. When he gets there, he doesn’t check in at the motel, but likely the campground. His rain gear isn’t gortex or some fancy man made water shedding material, it’s leather, cause cows don’t leak.
Life in Madagascar
Contrary to what you might expect, there is some debate over who first settled Madagascar. Some anthropologists believe Madagascar was first settled 2,000 years ago by Indonesians, not black Africans, and that mainland Africans did not arrive in Madagascar until a later date. Others suggest that the people of Madagascar descended from Indonesians and Africans who mixed before their arrival on the isolated island. Regardless, most experts agree that Madagascar’s inhabitants arrived relatively recently (there is no evidence of a stone age in Madagascar and the island was settled around the time Polynesians reached some of the planet’s most isolated islands ) and that subsequent migrations have brought other groups (like Arabs and Indians) into the mix.
