Welcome to the dark and twisted world of Benat Olea. He created these illustrations you see below in a personal project named "Red Poison". Those are short horror illustrated stories full of blood and beauty, pain and elegance. This guy must be a real fan of Tim Burton, because he seems to share the same sense of aesthetic with this famous film director. They both find the death to be the ultimate driving force of artistic inspiration. It is like the fear of mortality and our own transience is the real and original impeller of human creativity. We are all desperatly trying to create, make, build anything, just to leave some mark on this world, a memento of our brief existence.
