This really bugs me. How come everybody agrees love is serious business, but lovers, and couples in love always seem ridiculous to the rest of the world? And why does creating a romantic gesture always requires certain amount of madness and foolishness? And this is not reserved just for the young people. The old people are even worse when they fall in love. Because the might have given up and lost all hopes of loving again, and when that suddenly happens out of the bloom, they go ballistic.
