Family photos for some strange reason, the harder you try to make them look good, the worse they turn out. It is practically impossible to get a good family picture. There are so many terrible ones that there is a whole website dealing only with these horrific moments in the family. We even featured some time ago an awkward family photo gallery and there were many people who really loved it, so we were thinking that you might as well enjoy this one. It's a bit shorter with only eleven photos but they are as funny, if not even funnier. And as far the geeks are concerned, I know it's a bit too easy to make fun of them, but still, it feels so good!
Trevor, the boy in the picture, explains it to us, what is going on in this picture: "âIâm the boy in the picture with my family. Apparently, the ghostbusters craze got the best of my mom and she made us walk through the mall in those stupid shirts to get our picture taken. From the look on my sisterâs face, I donât think she was too thrilled with the whole idea either.â"
Apparently, Disney had this studio with set scenery where you could come with your family and dress up like a bunch of douchebags and then they would take a photo of your family with an addition of one extra non family member. Here's the terrifying experience described by the words of survivor on Flickr: "too busy to take photos and thus the unexpected urge to upload one of my most terrifying mementos of childhood: the pirates of the Caribbean family portrait from Disney World. Scan by mom; costuming by Walt Disney Corporation. We don't really seem to be into it, do we?"
I can't really say if this is really a family or just a group of lawn ornaments. And what's even worse is that the person in this photo is really proud of this image.
It's always easy to spot a true Kiss fan because of all the make up and face paint, overdone hair and crazy outfits. It somehow works for hormone jacked and rebellious teenagers, but it's a bit sad when you see a middle aged couple dressed like this, and it is only when they decide to dress up their unfortunate children like this that it turns from sad to disturbing.
Red and Jonny are some of the worldâs most famous Star Wars geeks. Here's one of their typical Christmas photos, featuring the couple posing in front of their Christmas tree covered in tiny replica stormtroopers.
Von Wong explains the photo: "So my mom's been bugging me, complaining that she has absolutely zero recent photos of her family despite the fact that her son is a photographer. Of course, this seemed like a great opportunity to goof around so I told my dad to build a time machine and my sister to go hunting for some old wardrobe and bang: Welcome to the Temple of Heaven in Beijing China."
These three aren't really related and are not a family in real life, but they are a part of a bigger nerdy family of geeks. Yes, they are all connected.
This family boldly goes where no other family has gone before. They all seem moderately happy, but the dad looks like 'I'm gonna die happy' happy! I wonder whose idea it was to dress up like this.
